Receive God’s Love
by Victoria Osteen
This weekend people all over the country will celebrate the people they love. I think about all the things people do to go out of their way on Valentine’s Day—cards, surprises, candy, presents. I wonder how it would affect people’s relationships if they celebrated the ones they love like this all the time.
I think it’s important that we learn to be comfortable with saying “I love you” as often as possible. We need to allow these words to flow freely in our homes to create an atmosphere of love. At the same time, we need to get comfortable with hearing those words spoken to us.
A young woman heard me speaking on this subject and wrote to tell me how much she appreciated my encouragement to embrace those words, “I love you.” “I really want to do that,” she wrote, “but I get so down on myself, and

If you’re like me, when you wake up in the morning, you start thinking about your day—where you’ll be going, who you’ll be seeing, and what the weather will be like. Then you go to your closet and choose something to wear that will work for all those different scenarios.
But there’s one thing that the Bible tells us we need to “put on” if we are going to be fully equipped for everything we will face each day—and that is love.
Love is a one-size-fits-all solution to every situation you will ever encounter with your family, friends, coworkers, and even the grocery clerk. When you’re wearing love, you are setting yourself up for success because the Bible tells us that love never fails.

So how do you “get” joy today? The good news is that when you make Jesus your Lord and Savior, the Bible says that the Spirit of God makes His home inside of you. And if the Holy Spirit is on the inside of you, than so is joy! As believers, we already have joy! But we have to stir up what God has

Everywhere I go, I encounter so many people who have a misconception that God is always mad at them. When things don´t go well, the first thing they say is, “Well, God, You did it to me again!”
It´s as if they think God is just waiting for them to do something wrong so He can punish them and make their lives difficult. Let me assure you right now: that is the farthest thing from the truth! God is not mad at you; He is madly in love with you!
It doesn´t matter how many times you´ve made a mistake; it doesn´t matter how many times you´ve blown it. God is always ready to receive you with open, loving arms.
In fact, He´s already forgiven you for anything you´ve done in the past and anything you will
